Podcast are a relative easy way to begin getting your name known and your message out there. I have been doing podcast for around 4 years now and find they bring in a lot of business & parents have listened to one or two of your sessions, they feel more comfortable and at ease.  I recommend podcasts for all our SleepTalk professionals wanting to expand their reach.

As we step into a brand-new year,

I find myself feeling deeply grateful, quietly proud, and incredibly excited about what lies ahead for the International SleepTalk® Training Academy.

The New Year always brings with it a sense of possibility, but this year feels particularly special. It marks a chapter of growth, refinement, and expansion—while staying grounded in what has always mattered most to me: supporting families, empowering professionals, and protecting the integrity of the SleepTalk® Process.

One of the areas I am most looking forward to this year is our renewed focus on research and collaboration. Over the coming months, I will be reaching out to charitable organisations, community services, and educational bodies to explore opportunities for new research initiatives. These partnerships will allow us to formally document outcomes we have witnessed anecdotally for decades—particularly with families experiencing emotional challenges, confidence issues, and school resistance. It feels incredibly important to contribute meaningful, real-world data while offering families access to a gentle, empowering process that supports long-term change.

Alongside research, innovation remains a strong focus. This year we will be introducing and trialling a compelling new component within our existing SleepTalk® Process. While the heart of the process remains unchanged, this enhancement has been thoughtfully developed to strengthen engagement and outcomes for both families and professionals. It has emerged through years of observation, feedback, and lived experience—and I am very much looking forward to sharing more as it unfolds.

Internationally, the momentum continues to grow. I am thrilled about the increasing overseas opportunities opening up across the UK, Europe, New Zealand, and beyond. Our Live in London Campaign was a huge success despite it being put together in a hurry this past December. As I pen this text today, I am readying to leave the UK on the 31st December and I must say I am a little sad to be leaving such like minded, committed and passionate company.

The universal need for emotional resilience, connection, and confidence knows no borders, and I remain deeply committed to ensuring that wherever the SleepTalk® Process is taught, it is delivered with consistency, integrity, and heart. Expanding our global footprint while maintaining quality and personal connection is a balance I take very seriously—and one I am proud of how ISTA continues to achieve.

The launch of Version 4 of the official SleepTalk® book.

This updated edition represents years of refinement, reflection, and evolution. It offers clearer explanations, improved structure, and greater accessibility for today’s parents and professionals—while honouring the foundations of the SleepTalk® Process that have supported families for over five decades. I truly believe this version will become an invaluable resource for those beginning their journey as well as those deepening their understanding.

As I look ahead, what excites me most is not just what we are building—but who we are building it with. The SleepTalk® community continues to inspire me: parents seeking hope, professionals expanding their impact, and organisations willing to collaborate for meaningful, lasting change.
